This role will involve the use of machinery and equipment and will include physical exertion (manual handling etc.) on a daily basis.
Location: Maynooth, Kildare
Reporting to: Workshop Manager
Position: Experienced Horticulture Machine Mechanic. Specialising in landscape and grounds maintenance mowers and machinery.
Contract: Full Time & Part Time Option (2-3 Days per Week)

- Hourly Rate: DOE

Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass
- Provisional / Full Driving Licence (preferable)
- B+E Licence (preferable)
- Previous experience in agricultural machinery is essential
Duties Include:
- Maintain service and repair Grass cutting, Construction plant and Salt spreading equipment.
- Repair and maintain road vehicles and trailers.
- Repair or recover breakdowns.
- Carryout scheduled onsite maintenance of site plant and equipment.
- Adhering with out of hours on call requirements in agreement with line manager.
- Available for winter service call outs during winter months on a roster basis.
Responsibilities:
- Adhering to the companies’ policies and procedures in relation to all aspects of Health & Safety.
- Obeying clients site rules & regulations in general and in particular in relation to Health & Safety.
- Completion of accurate job cards and other administrative duties related to works.
- Follow instruction provided by management and your site Foreperson.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the quality of work is delivered to an excellent standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensure work is of a high standard that is expected in SAP Landscapes.
