Tree Works Contracts Manager
As a Contracts Manager at SAP Landscapes, you will play a crucial role in managing a high volume of tree works projects while ensuring that all operations adhere to health and safety standards, client expectations and company policies. You will lead a team of employees and coordinate with various departments to deliver exceptional landscaping services.
Position: Tree Works Contracts Manager
Location: Maynooth
Reporting to: Operational Manager – Maintenance Department

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to company health and safety policies and client site regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee compliance with safety practices and standards.
- Organize and plan daily activities with team members regarding resources and project timelines.
- Monitor individual performance, attendance, and attitude, escalating issues as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to crews, including undertaking manual labor when needed.
- Manage incoming tree and non-tree works projects, scheduling and supervising work to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with the management team to communicate project timelines and updates to clients.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing concerns and feedback professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while seeking opportunities for upselling additional services.
- Generate and check daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to tree works.
- Ensure proper documentation and correspondence for contracted works are maintained and accessible.
- Monitor financial targets and work towards achieving budgetary goals.
- Assist in invoicing processes and liaise with the finance department regarding cash collection and payroll administration.
- Identify and manage training needs for team members.
- Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives as required by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience/knowledge in a similar industry desirable.
- Strong leadership experience and excellent plant knowledge.
- Exceptional planning, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid Safe Pass.
- Full clean driving licence.
