We are on the lookout for enthusiastic General Operators & Team Leaders to join our North County Dublin team. Immediate start – Part time options available.
Position: General Operatives & Team Leaders
Location: North County Dublin
Reporting to: Maintenance Contracts Manager
This job description outlines some of the duties and responsibilities that are associated with your role but it is by no means an exhaustive list and may be amended as the management of the company directs.
Duties Include:
General Operative:-
- Soil Cultivation
- Seeding and turfing of lawns
- Paving/light civil works
- Topsoiling
- Tree and shrub planting
- Mulching
- Watering
- Structural tree pit construction
- Ad hoc duties.
Team Leaders:
- Daily management of crews on site.
- Work as part of an onsite team to ensure the quality of the work is delivered to an excellent standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
- Scheduling of materials and plant / machinery for site.
- Managing the safety of colleagues on site.
- Supervision of sub-contractors.
- Quality control / monitoring of incoming materials.
- Read, understand and build as per landscape plans / drawings.
- Ensure the care and maintenance of plant and machinery whilst on site.
- Generating reports, including time sheets, machinery checklists, H&S reports etc.
- Winter maintenance works during winter periods (night work).
- Lawn care – mowing, strimming, and edging.
- Shrub and hedge pruning and maintenance.
- Tree maintenance.
- Weed control and herbicide application.
- Litter and debris collection
- Seeding and turfing of lawns.
- Paving/light civil works.
- Tree and shrub planting.
- Ad hoc duties.
Responsibilities:
- Adhering to the companies’ policies and procedures in relation to all aspects of Health & Safety.
- Adhering to client site rules & regulations in general and in particular in relation to Health & Safety.
- Follow instruction provided by management and your site Team Leader.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the quality of work is delivered to an excellent standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensure work is of a high standard that is expected in SAP Landscapes.
Package:
- General Operative – Hourly rate from €14.00 (DOE)
- Team Leader – Hourly rate: €16.00 – €20.00 (DOE)

Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass – An Advantage.
- Provisional / Full Driving Licence – An Advantage.
- B+E Licence/ Tractor experience – An Advantage.
- Previous experience / knowledge in a similar industry – An Advantage.
